Quality Assessment Tasks (QATs), a sub-brand of Janison, has been providing reliable assessment tools for secondary education since 2001. Offering a variety of tasks for Year 11 and 12 curricula across multiple Australian states, QATs helps educators evaluate student performance while saving valuable preparation time.
As part of the rebranding project, I collaborated with the marketing team to develop a cohesive brand identity for QATs. I refined the initial concepts and ensured the final branding was consistent across all platforms. My work included designing the website, creating brand guidelines, stationery packs, operational documents, and a full suite of templates to ensure consistency across all business communications.

Brand identity & guidelines
QATs’ brand identity is designed for clarity and consistency, with defined logo usage, colours, and typography ensuring a cohesive visual presence. I created the brand guidelines to ensure these elements were applied consistently across all materials, providing a clear and structured system that maintained visual unity throughout all communications.

Operational & corporate collateral
A range of corporate materials, including order forms, letterheads, business cards, and envelopes, were developed to ensure a consistent brand presence in all communications. Additionally, branded operational documents and templates help streamline internal processes while reinforcing the QATs identity.

Digital marketing & social media
QATs’ social media assets were designed to promote the brand and increase awareness within the education sector. A mix of static and motion graphics helped communicate key offerings, engage with educators, and reinforce QATs’ visual identity across digital platforms.

Digital design
The QATs website design process started with Figma modules, refining the structure and user experience before development. The final live website delivers a clear, accessible platform for schools and educators to navigate QATs services and resources.
